Somehow...I have injured my back. It hurts like never before. I'm now on some prescription strength advil and muscle relaxers...they aren't helping.

Happy Christmas

So it's been party, after party, after party over the last couple of weeks. I'm just SO popular.

This year seemed to be the Holiday Season for Meatballs.

I started with Swedish Meatballs for the first party, then the second party I made traditional Italian Meatballs, then for the third party I made Drunken Meatballs and now I have a recipe to make Martha Stewart Meatballs...I probably wont make those until after the first of the year though...the family might be tired of chewing on all the meatballs.

So, we're approaching Christmas Day and we're all set; gifts have been bought, wrapped and set under the tree. Christmas dinner has been planned, bought and set aside to make. Now we wait...wait for Santa to come down the chimney and eat his cookies we made and leave even more goodies for the children!!!

I'll be sure to post many pictures of all the gift unwrapping.

You're Growing Up In Such A Hurry

Last week was "The Destroyer's" birfday party so we did tons and tons of cleaning and preparing and had family and friends over to join in the festivities.

My bessest bud was able to make it with his son Hudson. Sadly though, his wife Dayna was not able to attend. This was the very first time we were able to meet Little Hudson and we just absolutely fell in love with him...he is the cutest!!!

There Is Nothing Better Than Being With You

"The Destroyer" was old enough this year to really get his hands into all of the Christmas decorations and help out. He loved it!!!

He decided to help me decorate my mother's Angel tree. I laughed so much. It was great!!!

This Body's Desperate For Something New

Jao graced us with his presence last week at "the Destroyer's" party. It was wonderful to talk with him again...face to face and to meet Hudson...who is a doll by the way!!!

We were able to talk for a while and discover new things. It's so wonderful to be surrounded by good friends. I love them.

We are all opening new chapters in our lives. As you may or may not know, we are all enrolled in school, to begin...for Nick, Jao and myself, and to continue for Amanda-Jayne. Amanda-Jayne will grace UofH with her presence, Nick and I will grace Kingwood College with our presences and JAO will grace HCC with his "JAO FABULOUS" presence.

We're all very excited and thrilled to be walking down the road of broadened horizons and expanding minds, honing and crafting our skills along the way.

Here in Jakey Land, we also have a few goals in mind for things to do around the house this next year as well:
new entryway and livingroom floor
renovating the kitchen
building a back patio
working on the front yard...flowers, trees, plants, lighting
working on the back yard...flowers, tree, plants, lighting
taking the family vacation to England in August

It will be a great year, I'm looking forward to this next chapter in the lives of the ones I love!!!

I'm thinking we should throw in some Garden Gnomes too. I love Garden Gnomes...they're SO cute.

WILD!!!

Thank You!!! Thank You!!! Thank You Lexxx...for going with me to SOBE. I had SO much fun tonight. It's hard to believe that it's been six months since my last visit. WOW...time flies when you sit at home and watch television.

I must confess I was a bit upset that they didn't play the ENTIRE Madonna song..."Hung Up"...what's up with that???...I waited all night for that one...but the fade into Annie Lennox and "Sweet Dreams" was wonderful. The cocktails were wonderful as well as the bartender and of course the nice looking men walking all over the place...YUM!!! I need to get out more. I get to gawk every six months at all the bare-chested beauties on the dancefloor.

It's alwasy fun to have some drunk son-of-a-bitch come up and tell you that you're hottt!!! It strokes the ego...just a bit.

Dodge and his girl Angela showed up tonight...WOW...what a surprise...only they didn't stay very long...they headed over to Chances, the Lesbianita Bar!!! I guess we'll wait for details on that one. I wish that my other good buddies could have come along and joined in the fun...Amanda-Jayne, Nick, and Jao, they would have had fun. Maybe next time.

Important Tidbits I learned While Under The Influence:
A guy shaking his ass on the dance floor for everyone to grab, is a slut...you know who you are!!!
After just four drinks, I can still keep both eyes open and NOT make out with the FAT boys!!!
My ears ring SO bad after leaving the club...maybe...just maybe I should follow Dodge's lead with those earplugs!!!
I'm getting really good at driving a standard!!!
I love stopping by Whataburger on the way home...it really satisfies the hunger...especially since this boy never gets anything else!!!

Baby Let's Blast Off...

OMG...plans fell through for NYC at the last minute. Life can be a bitch at times can't she???!!!

Jao and I have decided to plan a trip to the Big Apple in January. I'll keep you updated with the progress of that one!!!

Actually, things worked out for the best because Amanda-Jayne, Nick and I were able to wrap up a few last minute details for our school enrollment processes. We're all three approaching the Back To School experience in January.

And now I must go retrieve Amanda-Jayne's purse from Toys 'R Us...she's so forgetful at times...SILLY GIRL!!!
