There Will Still Be You And Me

I recently accepted a new position within my company. I will no longer be downtown, I wil be at our training center working with my girl Amanda-Jayne!!! She currently works in that department. She and I used to work together for a screen printing company...we had a lot of fun there...it will be like old times again. Today I went with her to sit and observe, just to get a feel for what it is that they do throughout their day. I was able to meet several of her co-workers and WOW...it was nice. There are some great looking guys there!!!

This job is going to be fun...good looking guys all over the place...and I'll get to see them EVERY day...yes!!!

The Droning Engine Throbs

Lexx and I headed out to "Gay Street" on Saturday Night and we were joined by some family and friends. My brother Leslie...the homophobe...finally gathered up enough courage to accompany me along with his girlfriend Kara. Lexx brought along one of his new acquaintances JT and another friend Evan. We drank at Blur and then at JR's and then Leslie and Kara split...not before letting me know that they had a good time...I knew they would. The rest of us headed over to South Beach for some get-down-booty-shaking!!!

It was nice to be out amongst the homos again. We tore up the dancefloor for quite some time, lusted over some hotties and drank some more liquors. Sometime during all of this, Lexx up and left and one by one everyone else in my party took off...leaving me alone with all the "bottom feeder" club-ho's. It was 04:00 and I decided to head home...alone...again.

It was a nice trip home though...me...the open rode...and not a soul around...*wink wink*

All The Cracks In Your Make-Up Are Starting To Show

Today is the day...the day for 36!!!

On this day 36 years ago Jake came into the world. Who knew he would have been so charming and handsome.

Whoa...hold up...by the looks of this picture Jake needs some BOTOX to wipe away those 36 years.

Thanks for the birthday kisses Amanda-Jayne!!! LOVE YOU.

Love Is Land

Touched down back in IAH around 11:30AM this morning...after riding FIRST CLASS...for the first time EVER!!!

The fam and I traveled up to Denver, Colorado on Tuesday Morning. We've been tossing around the idea of moving up north somewhere and set our eyes on Colorado...you know...someplace up North but not too far up North. Colorado seemed the perfect choice...thus the reason for our little jaunt up there these last few days.

We started the vacation by visiting the number one family entertainment restaurant in Colorado...recommended by everyone we talked with...CASA BONITA. Think of Panchos on Steroids...I'm talking hidden alcoves...10 ft deep pool...with a running waterfall, cliff divers, fire jugglers, live entertainment, mariachi singers and good sopapillas.

Next day we traveled to Colorado Springs and stopped by to tour the Air Force Academy. Very cool. For those of you who don't know...Boogie is thinking about attending the academy when he graduates high school. The drive there was simply brilliant!!! Who knew mountains and valleys could be so exciting...and beautiful homes along the way, sprinkled here and there were just great to look at and wonder if one day that might be us up on the mountain side.

After that we traveled to Manitou to see the Ghost Town Museum and then took a drive up to Pikes Peak...a two hour steep, breathtaking, unbelievable trek up a very very very very very tall mountain.

The next day we headed over to Golden to see Buffalo Bill's grave and his museum...which by the way...was nestled atop Lookout Mountain...another steep mountain drive. Once at the top we ventured into the souvenir shop and purchased some great fudge...then visited and read about Buffalo Bill and his life...very cool.

Friday led us back over to Golden to spend some time at Heritage Park to ride Ferris Wheels, Go-Karts, Bumper Boats, Roller Coasters, Paddle-Boats, and slide down the steep Alpine Slide.

After that we headed over to Boulder to visit Pearl Street outdoor mall... full of hippies, yuppies, bums, college students and gays. It was SO my scene!!! I loved it. We were going to visit the University of Colorado while there since that is where Amanda-Jayne will eventually finish her schooling...however by this time everyone was wore out so we headed back over to the hotel and called it a night so that we could get up at 03:00 on Saturday morning to be ready to leave by 04:00 to catch the first flight out...which we didn't make because it was overbooked.

We had a really great time. It was our first official family vacation. The weather there was absolutely brilliant...a high of 95 felt like 80 - 85 degrees...no humidity and cool breezes all the time...with temperatures dropping down to the 60's and 50's every night...it was wonderful!!! I've fallen in love...his name is Colorado...I definitely want to take the stagecoach and family up to the mountains.

We're Gonna See Who's Gonna Take Who Home

Last night I met Lexx at his house and then we headed over to Barnaby's for some food and to introduce me to his boyfriend Texx. Texx was very charming and very funny and very tall. Lexx did good!!!

We went out for a couple of drinks and then I headed home for the evening...I got sleepy while I was out...I'm such a wimp!!!

Two days to go...and the fam and I will be off to Denver...YAY!!!

In The Eyes Of The Stranger

Finally...After Days And Days Of Waiting And Anticipation...A Reply From Jao!!!

JAO:
The babies are perfect and gorgeous; 6 lbs 14 oz and 6 lbs 12 oz, exceptionally! We haven't yet filled out the birth certificate information, though. I'm considering making Ashton's middle name Roman instead, but we'll see.

I'll give you the number to Dayna's room; I should be up there this evening after six or so: 281.XXX.XXXX

I don't know exactly what day she'll be going home; maybe today, maybe tomorrow, maybe Wednesday. It depends on her doctor. My guess would be tomorrow.

Yay!!! Congratulations to Jao & Dayna...now where are the cutie patooties newborn pictures???!!!...THREE IS COMPANY!!!
