Please Please Tell Me Now!!!

I've been waiting patiently to hear from Jao and find out about his and Dayna's twin boys that were supposed to have been born yesterday by a "C-Section".

It's now Saturday in the afternoon, and still...no word. Of course I kind of expected this since the night before the surgery he sent me an email saying his cell phone was M.I.A. Certainly these "new fangled" hospitals have tellyphones so that one might be able to call another and give them important information when it is needed. Pins and needles here...pins and needles!!!

Thinking about it all now though...his celly may have contained my home phone and cell phone...thus the lack of a ring ring on my end. Hmmm...

So I wait...and wait...and wait...probably until sometime on Monday...when I receive an email telling me about all of the "goings on". Assuming that is...that Jao even goes into the office to send an email and make everything official. He may not even go back to work for a few days so that he can stay at home and help Dayna with Aden and Ashton...and big brother Hudson. Oh boy, I might be waiting quite some time to hear the news.

Well...I wish them and the "Neapolitan Twins" the best!!!

For now, I will continue on with my Good Eats marathon leading up to the all-new "Feasting On Asphalt" series premiering tonight. Then followed up by my two previously recorded episodes of Murder She Wrote and then I will finish the night off with The Shining...YAY!!!...I can hardly wait. I had intended on watching this classic horror last night...however a deep slumber came upon me and I had no choice but to succumb.

I need to get out more.

Missing 18 Hours

Today has been one of a late wake up call, a bit of the telly and now a bit of the fliriting on Manhunt!!!

I Couldn't Really Put It Much Plainer

So Yeah...where the hell have I been??? OMG...I turned on 104KRBE a few days ago and there was this announcement that started off something like this..."We're baaaaack!!! This is Roula and this is Ryan...that's right...the Roula and Ryan show are back!!!" I think for 1-minute, the world stopped spinning!!!

A YEAR AGO...
Just over a year ago I was pissed...I was livid...to find out the plug was pulled on "The Roula And Ryan Show" that at that time was situated on Mix 96.5. The show just came to the airwaves about two years previous to this time and it was growing in popularity and was like a breath of fresh air as compared to the stale boring and hum-drum Sam Malone show. Roula and Ryan along with Producer Eric absolutely rockkked!!!

The Monday through Friday commutes were so much fun listening to the three of them. Then one day out of the blue, they were no longer there and were replaced with SAM FREAKKKIN MALONE. My whole world had turned upside down and I was left wondering...WTF???!!!

Come to find out, Sam had left KRBE and went on to supposedly do TALK RADIO...and supposedly ended up on 96.5...which inevitably kicked R&R off into no-mans land. My morning commutes were never the same after that...I had nothing to listen to except cd's or silence...I was pissed!!! I sent a sort-of hate letter to 96.5 telling them that they had made a big mistake by letting R&R be replaced by SM and that I would no longer listen to their radio station...and I never did.

TODAY...
I still can't believe it...in fact, I heard another spot for their up and coming show again today...I almost wet my pants!!! This will be a delicious treat, once again, I can enjoy the hillarities that ensue on my AM commute...I'm so excited to get back in the groove with the "War Of The Roses"...which was one of R&R's weekly segments. So yeah...Roula and Ryan are back with a vengeance taking over Sam Malone's spot...revenge is always best served cold!!!

In For An Evening Of Light Entertainment

Saturday Night I went out with Ford, a friend of mine that I've known for a long time. It's been at least a couple of years since he and I went anywhere toghether...we usually just stay in touch by the telly...but this time he wanted to actually go out somewhere...so we went to the Gay Bar and went cruising. We had fun...saw some nice asses and a butt ugly drag queen...she was ridiculous...I mean really ridiculous!!!

I ran into a few people I knew but when all was said and done, I made no man on man contact...however, I can't say the same for Ford...he got some action in the bathroom with a latin harlot!!!

Yesterday was very uneventful in JakeyLand...today seems to be proving the same. I think however, today I am going to catch up on all of my recorded Everyday Italian episodes and Barefoot Contessa episodes. I find myself in my down time flipping between HGTV and The Food Network.

I have finished reading Merrick and now I need to make a trip to Barnes and Noble to purchase a new book along with my monthly magazines...Living and Genre. I'm such a creature of habit.
